Description

The Beautimate Hydra Pen combines adjustable-depth microneedling with a cartridge-based serum delivery system. The device has an adjustable range of 0–1.0 mm and an EMS mode.

Compatible cartridges come in 12-pin, 36-pin, and nano options. Two nano cartridges are included; needle cartridges are sold separately. Each cartridge has a serum-flow dial with settings 1, 2, and 3.

Use compatible water-based serums in the cartridge chamber. Oils and thick formulas should not be placed inside it. The Hydra Pen is USB-C rechargeable and comes with a stand.

How to use

Before you start

Start with clean skin, clean hands, and a charged device. Read the included guide before using the pen or its EMS mode. Use a fresh cartridge for every session.

How to use

With the device switched off, open a new cartridge and prepare its chamber with a compatible water-based serum. Do not overfill.
Attach the cartridge according to the device guide and secure the retaining ring. Do not force the cartridge.
Choose the serum-flow setting using the cartridge dial. Adjust the flow before use; use only compatible water-based formulas.
Select settings and operate the pen according to its guide. Use light pressure and work in small sections.
Switch the device off after use. Remove and discard the cartridge.

Care

Wipe the device as directed in the guide. Do not submerge the pen in liquid. Keep unopened cartridges sealed and do not share or reuse them.

Before using the tool

The 0–1.0 mm range describes the device's adjustment range, not a recommendation to use the maximum setting. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Use EMS only as directed in the device guide.

Which cartridges fit the Hydra Pen?

Can I put rosemary oil in the serum chamber?

No. Use compatible water-based serums only. Do not put oils or thick formulas in the chamber.

How is serum flow adjusted?

Each cartridge has a dial with settings 1, 2, and 3. Adjust it before use and follow the device guide for your chosen serum.

Can I reuse a cartridge?

No. Use a fresh cartridge for each session and discard it afterward. Do not share cartridges.

Does it include an EMS mode?

Yes. Read the device guide for the EMS operating instructions and precautions.

How do I clean the pen?

Does NOTHING, even on the longest needle setting

The device comes with Nano cartridges, as stated in the product listing. Nano cartridges do not contain needles, so increasing the depth setting will not make them perform like pin cartridges. When you contacted us, we explained the difference and let you know that pin cartridges are available separately. You chose to return the device after using it, and we accepted the return at no cost and issued a full refund.

Pro results at home

I wanted to get microneedling to get rid of my smile lines and some other imperfections but didn't want to spend the amount of money a salon charges. I decided to try this out as the price was super affordable and I like the fact that I can fill the cartridge with serum. Let me tell you, my skin has never looked this good. My smile lines are barely noticeable and my skin looks more youthful overall. Plus I'm saving a boatload of money. I couldn't be happier with this product!!!

I love this product

I was a bit scared to try this at first as I don't do well with pain but after using some numbing cream it didn't hurt at all. I started on the lowest setting and worked my way up over time. I also used beautimates Hyah serum to fill the cartridge and that stuff is amazing. Combining that with this hydra pen left my skin plump and hydrated. I freaking love this!

So far so good

I have been using this pen for 6 weeks and my skin never looks better. My under eye are fading and my forehead wrinkles are shrinking. Can't wait to see what my skin looks like after 6 months!

Perfect for DIY

I used a roller for a while and it was okay but after watching some youtube videos I discovered it isn't as great as a stamp or pen. I decided to try this one out and it made all the difference. The stamping is more precise and I see results from it faster than with a roller.

Glowing skin

I’ve only used this product twice and haven't had any issues. I started on the .25 mm setting and didn’t experience any discomfort. The next week my skin was glowing. I'll go up to 0.5mm next time and see how it goes.

Great deal

I used this for the first time today and so far so good. It doesn't hurt and is easy to use. The nano cartridges make it painless. They do have other needle cartridges you can buy too but I'm gonna stick with the nano for now.

I'm in love

I've had a few microneedling treatments done at a med spa that costs $300+each time and it does have a major improvement on my skin but I got tired of paying so much for something I was pretty sure I can do myself. This works just as well as the med spa treatments and I also save so much time doing it at home since I don't have to drive anywhere lol. Love this hydra pen.

Practically painless

This is easy to use, pretty effective, and isn't very painful even on the highest setting. I recommend it.

Works Well So Far

Just started using it so can't speak to long term results but it is easy to use and I like that I can pu the serum directly into the cartridge. It's only been a few days since I used it but my skin seems like it is improving. Will update once I've had more time with it.

Love it, Definitely recommend this pen for wrinkles and fine lines, which is what I used it for.

Great value

I use this once every 3 weeks for my fine lines. A cool feature is how the serum comes out while I do my treatment. I also like that the depths are adjustable so I can target different areas. The best part is the price! So much cheaper than going to a med spa for the same treatment.
