How to Use

Standard Cartridges (12-pin, 36-pin)

Serum Flow Adjustment: Each cartridge has a small dial on the side of the tip marked 1, 2, and 3. Rotate the tip to select your setting before use:

• 1 = lower flow — for thin, watery serums (such as Hyah Serum)
• 2 = mid flow — for serums with medium consistency
• 3 = higher flow — fort hicker serums

Start at 1 when using Hyah Serum. If serum is not flowing evenly, try rotating to 2.

1. Charge the Hydra Pen fully using the USB-C cable before first use.
2. Wipe the device with alcohol. Air-dry before attaching the cartridge.
3. Remove the protective cover. Fill the cartridge serum chamber with your water-based serum. Attach the cartridge to the device. Adjust the serum flow dial on the side of the cartridge tip before stamping — rotate to 1 for thin serums like Hyah, 2 for medium-consistency serums, or 3 for thicker formulas. This controls how much serum is released with each press.
4. Insert the cartridge into the top of the Hydra Pen. Once fully seated, secure it by tightening the retaining ring around the base until it is held firmly in place. Do not force the cartridge. If it does not fit easily, remove it, realign it, and try again.
5. Set your preferred needle depth — start at the lowest
   depth if you are new to the device.
6. Start with clean, dry skin or scalp.
7. Press and stamp gently across the treatment area.
   Overlap stamps slightly for even coverage. Do not drag or roll the pen.
8. After the session, apply any remaining serum and let it
   absorb fully.
9. Remove and dispose of the cartridge. Wipe the device with rubbing alcohol. Air-dry.

 Nano Cartridges (Sensitive Skin / No Downtime)

1. Fill the nano cartridge chamber with your water-based serum and attach.
2. Nano cartridges do not penetrate the skin. The depth setting has little to no effect because the nano tips remain on the skin’s surface.
3. Glide or stamp gently across clean skin to deliver serum. No downtime. Can be used on sensitive or reactive skin.
4. Dispose of the cartridge.
