Which pin count should I choose?
The 12-pin works well for smaller, targeted areas such as around the nose. The 18-pin provides medium coverage and is a versatile option for face and scalp routines. The 36-pin covers a larger surface area and works well for broader areas of the face and scalp.
Which cartridge feels the gentlest?
Many people find the 36-pin gentler than the 12-pin because the pressure is distributed across more needles. The 12-pin concentrates pressure across fewer needles and can feel more intense. How it feels also depends on depth, speed, treatment area and individual sensitivity.
Can I reuse a cartridge?
No. Each cartridge is sterile and designed for one session only. Dispose of it after use and open a new cartridge for your next session.
Do these cartridges fit other microneedling pens?
No. They are designed specifically for the Beautimate Microneedle Pen. They do not fit Dr. Pen A6, M8 or other microneedling pen models.
Can I use serum with these cartridges?
Yes. Serum is applied directly to the skin rather than placed inside the cartridge. For face routines, a simple water-based serum such as HYAH Serum can be used during and after microneedling. For scalp routines, Rosemary Hair Serum can be applied after your session.
How do I attach a cartridge to the pen?
Remove the cartridge from its sterile pouch immediately before use. Align it with the pen head, insert it and rotate until it locks securely into place. If it does not seat easily, remove it, realign it and try again rather than forcing it.
How often should I replace the cartridge?
After every session. One cartridge is intended for one session, so a 20-pack provides 20 individual uses.
