How does the Adjustable Hydra Stamp work?
The Hydra Stamp combines a microneedling head with a built-in serum chamber. A thin, water-based serum is placed inside the chamber and dispensed through the stamp head as you press and lift the tool across the skin.
What's the difference between the Adjustable Hydra Stamp and a regular Derma Stamp?
The Adjustable Hydra Stamp has a built-in serum chamber that dispenses a thin, water-based serum while you stamp. A regular Derma Stamp has no chamber, so serum is applied separately. The regular stamp may be a better choice if you prefer to use thicker formulas or oils.
What's the difference between the Adjustable Hydra Stamp and the fixed Hydra Stamp?
The Adjustable Hydra Stamp lets you select a depth from 0.25 to 1.5 mm and has a larger 10 mL glass chamber. The fixed Hydra Stamp stays at 0.25 mm and has a smaller 5 mL chamber.

What depth should I use at home?
For at-home face and scalp microneedling, stay at 0.5 mm or below. Although the stamp physically adjusts up to 1.5 mm, the maximum setting is not a recommended at-home depth.
What serum can I put in the chamber?
Use a thin, water-based serum that is appropriate for your routine. HYAH Serum is lightweight and water-based, making it a good choice for face routines.
Can I put rosemary or castor oil in the chamber?
No. Oils and other thick formulas may not flow properly through the dispensing system. For a scalp routine with Rosemary Hair Serum, stamp first and apply the oil directly to the scalp afterward.

Why isn't my serum coming out evenly?
Serum flow depends partly on the consistency of the formula. Thick products may dispense slowly or not at all. Use a thin, water-based serum and make sure the chamber and dispensing openings are clean.
Can I apply serum directly to my skin too?
Yes. You can apply a thin layer directly to the skin before or during stamping if you want additional coverage, and you can apply more afterward if desired.
Can I use the Adjustable Hydra Stamp on my scalp?
Yes. For at-home scalp use, stay at 0.5 mm or below. If using an oil-based scalp serum, do not put it in the chamber; apply it directly to the scalp after stamping.
How often should I use it?
For at-home use at 0.25–0.5 mm, approximately once weekly to every other week is a simple starting schedule. Give your skin time between sessions.
Do I drag the Hydra Stamp across my skin?
No. Press straight down, lift completely and move to the next area. The tool is designed for stamping rather than rolling or dragging.
How do I clean the chamber?
Empty any remaining serum after your session and rinse the chamber thoroughly. Clean the needle head with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow everything to dry completely before storing.
How many times can I reuse the Adjustable Hydra Stamp?
Replace it after approximately 6–10 uses, or sooner if the needles become bent, dull or damaged. Keep the tool for personal use only.
